I came from a large MNC to Orion after a long hiatus with India's biggest software
exporting company looking for more challenging roles and a wider
technology experience. And I got exactly that when I joined at Orion Kochi
as the very first SAP resource in the Kochi office. As an SAP techno-functional analyst, I get to interact regularly not only with the SAP team but with the SQL and .Net teams, giving me a wider technological exposure. IS-Retail and Manufacturing being my current area of work, I also get to regularly update my functional skills. More than that, my job designation in Orion is not just limited to a particular bracket. I get to be a part of the recruitment team, a part of the events organizing committee?.and so much more!

Right out of college, I decided to join Orion as a software engineer in the Development support team. As I was straight out of college it was an interesting thing to observe the changes that I had gone through gradually like learning to debug the code or playing with stored procedures and SQL scripts. Since the job demanded logical endurance, I found it really interesting and it was fun to work on issues we get. It was a very enchanting experience and the exposure was huge. I have learnt a lot in this one year and I have been given the opportunity to interact with the best heads in the industry.
I was given responsibility to conduct training sessions which I found was really self motivating and could help one learn things better. I strongly believe I took the right decision by joining Orion rather than any other big MNC as here you would definitely get noticed, where as in a big MNC you would just be another drop in an ocean. Also the opportunities within the company are huge as it is growing exponentially and more over there is a family feel to it.

I had joined in ORION as HR Executive. I had the golden opportunity to gain invaluable experience by working in different roles and responsibilities that granted me exposure to various areas. My experience with Orion has granted me a deep insight into the IT industry as well as the ability to strategize things at a macro level. The support I have received from my peers and senior colleagues is very encouraging. I have always been encouraged to take initiatives and participate in various industry forums To sum it all up, being a part of one of the developing IT Industry has been a true honor.
