With over 100 years of combined experience, Orion’s senior management team’s expertise and knowledge is the driving force in the ongoing success of the company.  A strong sense of leadership and a concentrated vision in emerging technologies is deeply supported by hands-on experience in numerous verticals including financial products, manufacturing, telecommunications and retail. 

Executive Management Team

• Sunil Mehta, Founder, CEO and President
• Founder and CEO and of Orion Systems Integrators, Sunil has more than 25 years of experience in creating and executing visions, goals, and strategies for the company. Under his leadership and direction Orion has experienced substantial growth, year over year since 1993.  As an IT executive and professional he leverages a deep understanding of the several industry verticals and technologies that facilitate the implementation of their business functions. He possesses a keen sense of understanding customer visions and providing the right business solution that meets their expectations. He has extensive experience in designing engagement models and solutions for global application outsourcing and deployment.
  
  Sunil earned a Baccalaureate in Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Mumbai and later earned his Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Florida, Gainesville, U.S. Prior to starting Orion Systems, he worked in various capacities as a Software Professional in Gorham Clark, NY, Vantage Software, NY and Patni Computer Systems, India.
• Rudy Ramcharitar, Executive VP
  • An integral part of the Orion team, Rudy has over 20 years of IT experience and has been with Orion since its early days. He has expertise in managing and implementing complex networking and IT infrastructure projects. He is also considered an authority in the EDI platform, having been instrumental in the development of AMT (an EDI-based ERP solution for the garment and related accessories industry). Rudy has executed a number of sophisticated system integration tasks in complex IT environments, and has been instrumental in establishing Orion as a leading systems integrator.
• Chetan Naik, Executive VP
  • Chetan has over 25 years of professional experience with large software systems.  During his professional career, he has held several lead technical positions with Fortune 100 companies including Singer Link Simulations, Raytheon, Bendix, CSC, and AT&T Bell Labs.  In these roles he has been responsible for the successful design and implementation of key information technology systems.  He has played a crucial role in the implementation and deployment of a variety of OSS systems such as Planning, Forecasting, Order Management/Provisioning, Maintenance and Customer Care.  He has managed multi-million dollar mission critical software projects. Chetan was instrumental in winning a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) contract in 1993 awarded to UNIXPROS by the U.S. Air Force involving developing software for a Centralized Fault Diagnosis and Correction Capability for geographically separated networks.  Previously serving as Managing Director of Unixpros, LLC, he currently runs the company’s operations, oversees business development, project development and marketing activities.
    
    Chetan holds an MS degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University, and an MS degree in Engineering from Cornell University as well as a Baccalaureate of Technology degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur.
• Suresh Menon, Executive VP
  • Suresh brings to the team 20 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. Experienced in business and strategic planning, resource development and global sourcing, Suresh has been instrumental in influencing the expansion of Orion's client base, increasing bottom line revenue and improving strategic processes.
• Ranjan Dattagupta, General Manager
  • Ranjan Dattagupta is a twenty five year industry veteran, having spent the majority of his career as an executive with IBM Corporation. Prior to joining IBM, Ranjan held key roles at Honeywell and Wang Laboratories. At IBM, Ranjan was engaged in numerous industry verticals involving technology, consulting,sales & marketing and management. He held several essential leadership and management roles within the IBM Global Services and IBM Sales & Distribution organizations.
    
    Ranjan's leadership and experience working with Fortune 1000 companies globally enables him to amass differentiating technologies and skills to create unique opportunities in global markets and deliver measurable value. His deep understanding of services organization, processes, go to market strategy and offerings has been key to his success with forward-thinking businesses
    
    Ranjan is a Business Management graduate from St. Xavier's College, University of Calcutta, India.
• Narendra Kumar, Director of Operations, Orion India
  • Narendra has played a key leadership role in Orion's global organization since 1999. With over 25 years experience in the technology industry, Narendra has leveraged his expertise in both science and engineering and successfully managed and directed many of Orion's development centers. In 2000, he was responsible for opening and maintaining our facility in Munich, Germany. Throughout his exemplary career at Orion, he has successfully implemented Orion's infrastructure; including staffing, project management and application deployment in our development centers in Mumbai and Kochi, India. Narendra's focus on marketing and operations management combined with his strong sense of commitment and dedication have greatly contributed to Orion's sustainable growth plan.
    
• Maximiliano B. Rojas, Manager IT Services
  • Maximiliano has been an integral part of Orion Systems Integrators, Chile since its inception in 2006. With over 10 years of professional IT experience, he has participated in various projects spanning a multitude of applications and implementations including Business Intelligence, Business Process Management, Customer Relations Management and IT security procedures. His entrepreneurial skills, empathy and holistic worldview enable him to effectively manage a wide array of teams and projects. Max holds a BS in Engineering and an MS in Information Technology from the Technical University Federico Santa María – Chile.
