Orion Innovation’s Chief People Officer, Garima Singh, was invited to share her thoughts on “Accelerating Action”, the theme for this year’s International Women’s Day.

“At Orion Innovation, we take immense pride in fostering an inclusive workplace where women are empowered to lead, innovate, and thrive,” Singh says. “This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the incredible women who bring their talent, leadership, and resilience to our workplace every day and also recognize the male allyship as part of our culture.”

She shares how Orion Innovation is empowering women in the workplace through several initiatives. “We’re proud to accelerate action through initiatives like the Women Reimagine Program, which supports women returning to the workforce, and MyOWN – Orion Women’s Network, which fosters mentorship and leadership.”

Singh continues, “We are celebrating across our locations in India, North America, Europe, and Mexico with a variety of local activities focused on health, fun, learning sessions on equity awareness, and community events. These initiatives reflect our commitment to women’s well-being and professional growth. Let’s continue to champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging—not just today, but every day.”

Singh’s perspective was published on several publications: HR Observer, Business News This Week, Business News Week, Media Bulletins, Content Media Solution, Biz News Desk, and Smart Business News.

Singh was also included in CXO Lanes’s Women of Impact series, which features inspiring women who are breaking barriers and driving change.

Singh talks about her journey as a leader: “Leadership, to me as a woman who served in the army and held leadership roles in corporate as well, means embracing both strength and empathy—showing others that power lies not just in making decisions, but in empowering those around you. It’s about creating an environment where all voices are heard, leading with authenticity, and breaking barriers so that the next generation of women can rise higher and reach further than ever before.”

She also shares advice to future women leaders, encouraging them to:

  • “Trust your voice, stay true to your values, and never underestimate your strength”
  • “Embrace challenges as opportunities to grow and lead by example, showing that resilience and empathy can coexist.”
  • “Surround yourself with mentors and allies, but never shy away from being your own champion.”
  • “Remember [that] leadership is a journey—one where every setback is a step forward and every success is shared with those who inspire and support you along the way.”
