Business/Solutions Analyst

Job Description:

The Solution Definition Workstream is part of the IDMP Foundation Project that is tasked with facilitating and managing the project team’s selection of a software/data platform to implement Solution The workstream will:

  • Partner with the client’s Procurement resources to prepare and distribute RFP to targeted vendors
  • Manage Vendor RFP evaluation (Response, Scoring, Presentation, and Demo)
  • Facilitate Sandbox Testing (sandbox environment setup, use case definition, coordination of sandbox testing efforts, and summarization of testing results) 
  • Assess architectural fit (technical, integration, business process, data governance, and EA review)
  • Develop Business Case for 2021 IDMP Solution Implementation Project
  • Prepare Draft of Implementation Plan

This resource will be responsible for related activities, including:

  • Consolidating vendor RFP responses
  • Consolidating and summarizing RFP Feedback from team members
  • Assisting with development/formatting of solution evaluation criteria
  • Consolidating and summarizing solution evaluation scoring results
  • Working with vendors to coordinate sandbox environment setup 
  • Development of Use Cases for sandbox testing
  • Summarizing sandbox testing results


  • Experience with developing and summarizing vendor RFPs
  • Experience with evaluation and implementation of vendor software solutions
  • Experience driving vendor selection activities (scoring, testing, etc.)
  • Analyzing and consolidating data from multiple sources
