Job description:
We are currently looking for an junior proactive and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team in a new Orion Innovation office in Vilnius, Lithuania. A person in this role is expected to be a creative, innovative, and inspiring personality preferably with proven work experience and good design/prototyping software knowledge.
Overall responsibilities:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Take complete ownership of the design, user experience and UI
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Assist senior UI/UX designer on ad hoc basis
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Adopt an existing design system, adapt and build upon it by using and improving existing components, patterns and principles
Requirements:
- A portfolio demonstrating your work
- Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design
- Ability to communicate design decisions through sketches and low fidelity prototypes
- A strong sense of aesthetics
- Written and Spoken English, strong communication skills
- Expertise with Figma, Creative Suite, ProtoPie, Axure or other design and prototyping software
- Good analytical skills, able to interrogate and interpret information
Advantage:
