Role Objective:
The ideal candidate will show interest in mastering and exercise responsibility towards both project and team. The candidate must have strong analytical skills and possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Reporting to: QA Manager
Key Accountability:
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases
- Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
Key Competencies:
- 2 – 4 years of proven working experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- UG: Any Graduate – Any Specialization, PG: Any Postgraduate – Any Specialization
