Job description:
- We are currently looking for QA Manager to join our team in ORION Innovation office in Vilnius Lithuania
- The candidate should be able to participate discussions across teams, working with technical and non-technical users, including software developers, product managers and support teams
- The candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-driven and deliver high quality results
Overall responsibilities:
- Leading test teams and test process (planning, coordinating and executing testing)
- Ensuring visibility, traceability, and control of testing process to deliver high-quality software
- Day-by-day tracking of preparation and execution status and test progress, handling critical issues and risk evaluation
- Defect management balance priority, criticality, resolution plan and possible work around definition for open known defects
- Demonstrate experience in defining and implementing testing best practices within the project team
- Take initiative for improvements, identifying, and mitigating risks, problem solving
- Act as the point of contact for QA related questions
- Checking detailed time schedules of tests and align plan with Project Manager
- Interacting with test and integration teams at establishing test environment(s), generating test cases and test data
Candidate requirements:
- Relevant experience in software testing and team leadership
- Knowledge of and experience with QA methodologies
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and quality processes
- Analytical mind and good attention to details
- Self-driven and ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Ability to work as part of a development team
- Decision-making, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English
