Job Description:
We are currently looking for an curious and technically savvy engineer to join our team in a new Orion Innovation office in Vilnius, Lithuania as Orchestration and Automation engineer. We are looking for a self-motivated contributor with Cloud/Orchestration/ActiveBatch knowledge, SQL and scripting experience.
Responsibilities:
- Use requirements supplied by the system analysts and other IT teams to create Active Batch processes of varying complexity to automate processes
- Work with business analysts and other stakeholders in order to identify automation coverage and evaluate SQL package suitability for the automation in ActiveBatch
- Develops MS SQL code for IT operations tools as needed
- Automation, tool consolidation and orchestration maintenance related tasks
- Optimize the execution of jobs in the IT environments
- Be a part of SCRUM team
Requirements:
- MS SQL knowledge
- Hands-on experience with ActiveBatch
- Proficiency with at least one of the scripting languages: Python, C# or similar
- Experience in process automation
- At least basic understanding about containers, container orchestration and the ecosystem around them
- Work experience in the Agile environment
- Higher level of written and Spoken English, strong communication skills
Considered as advantage:
- Experience in various Cloud technologies, Orchestration, GIT and CI/CD (preferably Azure/Azure DevOps Services)
- Experience with relative databases management systems and SQL
- Experience of automation integration into CI/CD pipeline
- Configuration management tool knowledge
- Software development and testing lifecycle knowledge
