Responsibilities:
- Debug and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
- Establish a deep understanding of customer needs for your area and leverage those insights to provide outstanding solutions
- Manage ongoing bugs/incidents, system configuration and testing for our partner products
Requirements:
Must have:
- At least 5-7 years of experience in embedded software design / hands-on software development or solutions architecting experience
- Experience with simulation technologies like Simics, System-C and QEM
- Strong low level embedded software development (e.g., BSPs and device drivers)
- Experience with major processor families: PowerPC, Intel and ARM/IA architecture and PPC/MIPS
- Strong C/C++ and Python programming skills
- Experience with open-source development environment
- Good Yocto knowledge
- Experience with Linux Kernel Development/Device Drivers/BSP development
- Integrate/Implement architecture specific Linux Kernel code
- Experience with device drivers, BSPs and HW design
- Expert knowledge of Embedded Linux Operating system
- Working/functional knowledge of network stacks, switching, routing, etc
- Experience with TCP/IP
- Familiar with revision control system git
- Experience with toolchain
- Experience with Scrum or Agile development methods
- Good troubleshooting/debugging skills
- Enjoy working on leading edge technologies and projects
- Ability to quickly learn new programming languages
- Self-starter / hands-on with minimum supervision
- Solid decision-making skills and judgment
- Experience with a direct customer facing position and comfort with customers and issue resolution skills
- A passion for customer-facing tools, user experience, and user enablement

Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or above) of computer science, electronics, or other related majors
- Experience with embedded development product development
- Familiar with many kinds of peripherals and buses, such as USB, OTG, SDIO, PCIe, NOR/NAND flash, Ethernet, WIFI, SATA/SAS/RAID, I2C, SPI, Graphics, Audio etc
- Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills with the ability to work across multiple geographies
