Job Description: Technical Project Manager

What does a great Technical Project Manager do?

  • Assumes overall responsibility for the management and successful implementation of medium to large sized application development projects executed by our Product and Technical teams that support the CoPilot and CardPointe applications, as well as the CardPointe Gateway.

  • Quickly becomes main point of contact and subject matter expert for all aspects of assigned projects throughout the entirety of the project life-cycle.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage Spring and Fall Card Brand releases

  • Ability to manage multiple Software Development projects independently and with minimal supervision

  • Self-starter that is able to comfortably interface with all impacted teams

  • Capability to understand moderate to complex product and technology concepts quickly

  • Creation of project outlines, identification of key milestones and management of implementation tasks across multiple teams

  • Partner with project team to create and document project requirements

  • Documentation, organization and distribution of all project related information and reporting

  • Create and provide clear and concise updates to project team and key stakeholders on a consistent recurring basis

  • Ability to identify, report, and resolve project related challenges, risks and issues

  • Flexibility to quickly shift focus when priority or scope changes are presented

  • Problem solving and data analysis skills required to provide recommendations and assist key decision makers

  • Identification and measurement of key success metrics

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum One (1) year experience with Card Brand Compliance and Spring / Fall Releases

  • Minimum One (1) year of payments industry or product related experience

  • Minimum Three (3) years of Project Management experience managing Software Development projects, SDLC

  • Familiarity with standard software development concepts

  • Excellent communication, coordination and organizational skills

  • Strong Microsoft Application knowledge (Project, Teams/Sharepoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence a plus
