Mr. Schorr joined OEP in 2015 when it combined with Augusta Columbia Capital, and he’s a Senior Managing Director and member of the Investment Committee and the Operating Committee. Mr. Schorr’s prior and current investments, directorships and Chairman of the Board positions include Travelport, Fairchild Semiconductor, Intersil, Ameritas, Alliance Data Systems, AMI Semiconductor, Alorica, iFlex, Intelenet Global Services, nTelos, Crayon, Orbitz, STATS ChipPAC, Great Lakes Dredge & Dock, Genband, Freescale Semiconductor, KEMET, Worldspan, SMIC, Allegro, MagnaChip, Valor Communications, EMSO, Rizing, and ePak.
Prior to OEP, Mr. Schorr was Chairman and Managing Partner of Augusta Columbia, and before that, a Senior Managing Director and Member of the Private Equity Investment Committee of Blackstone, having previously been Managing Partner of Citigroup Venture Capital Equity Partners. Mr. Schorr serves on the Board of Trustees of The Whitney Museum of American Art, the Board of Directors of Jazz at Lincoln Center and Snowmass Chapel.
He received a MBA from the Harvard Business School with honors, and graduated magna cum laude from The School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University.
Mr. Schorr’s first novel, The After, was published in 2018.
