The Business Report is pleased to announce The Top 50 Business Leaders of New Jersey for 2023. As the most densely populated state in the country, New Jersey has several unique aspects that make it an ideal home for business leaders and the companies they represent. For starters, the Garden State’s strategic location on the East Coast provides excellent access to major markets and transportation networks. Backed by numerous universities and research institutions, the state also boasts a highly skilled and educated workforce. Additionally, New Jersey boasts a diverse economy that includes major companies in the pharmaceuticals, life sciences, financial services, advanced manufacturing, telecommunications, information technology, and transportation industries. Indeed many of this year’s awardees lead New Jersey’s largest and most influential players.
Some of the distinguished honorees on this year’s list include Barak Eilam, the CEO of NICE, a global company with over 8,500 employees serving 25,000 organizations in more than 150 countries. Under his CEO leadership of nine years, NICE’s revenue has more than doubled, with significant growth and a tripling of profitability, resulting in a seven-fold increase in market capitalization. Meanwhile, Siby Vadakekkara, the Co-Founder and CEO of Marlabs, has spearheaded his company’s growth from three people in 2007 to over 2,500 today. Lastly, representing the aerospace industry, we have Thierry Betbeze, the CEO of Dassault Falcon Jet. Over the years, Betbeze has risen from being a cost accountant to later being influential in several multi-billion projects, which includes being responsible for relations with the French Ministry of Finance.
