Orion Supports charity: water to Bring Clean Water to a Community in India
Access to clean drinking water and sanitation is an issue for 771 million people. It directly impacts health, family income, the ability to farm and irrigate the land, and prospects for education.
charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries, with the goal to end the global water crisis within our lifetime.
Orion has been supporting charity: water with our own fundraising and we are now scaling our efforts by becoming a corporate sponsor. We’ve initiated a project to bring a piped water system with tap stands to a community in India. This project will take 18 months with expected completion in 2023. More to come at various milestones of this project.
