The following is an excerpt from an article written by Phil Spencer.

Liverpool fans have joked that they might have found a future superstar after viewing a wholesome video.

The Reds shared a video on their official Instagram page which included Luis Diaz, Wataru Endo and Kostas Tsimikas playing a game of ‘crossbar challenge’ with some children in the club’s academy.

The group, who were from Liverpool‘ under-9s team, were tasked with hitting the crossbar from the edge of the penalty area – a task that might have been harder for many with three Premier League stars watching on.

But in the clip, Tsimikas takes it upon himself to not only support the youngsters from the sideline, but also offer advice.

To one child he said: “Take a big breath. You have to be focused to kick the ball – you got this.”

For one kid, the task was almost too easy as they performed a couple of kick-ups before smashing a volley against the crossbar, leading Tsimikas, Diaz and Endo to run after him and pick him up to celebrate together.
