As the President of Orion Innovation Europe and Global Head of Industrial & Consumer Technology (I&CT) and Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS), Alex Bogachek brings over 25 years of software development and executive leadership experience, spanning small startups to established organizations. He drives innovation and excellence across diverse technological landscapes, formulating go-to-market strategies, nurturing client relationships, and overseeing business operations across regions.
In his role, Alex spearheads Orion’s European operations and leads a distributed team focused on key sectors including Automotive and Transportation, Logistics, Smart Energy, Smart Home, Safety and Security, MedTech, BioTech, Pharma, Healthcare Services, and Consumer Electronics, spanning both the I&CT and HCLS verticals.
His journey to Orion stems from his distinguished tenure as CEO of MERA, where he navigated the organization through robust growth and transformation. Alex played a pivotal role in ensuring company growth through a relentless focus on service excellence and geographic expansion. Prior to his role at MERA, Alex held various engineering leadership roles with such companies as Shift4, Revel Systems, and SynapSense, further enriching his expertise in technology and innovation.
Alex’s leadership prowess extends beyond conventional boundaries, as demonstrated by his adept management of software development, quality assurance, customer support, and program management teams of varying sizes, ranging from agile teams of 3 to expansive teams exceeding 2500 engineers.
He holds an MS degree in Computer Science and an MBA in Organizational Leadership from NNSU. Additionally, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), further underscoring his commitment to excellence in project execution and delivery.
