Jeff brings over 30 years of experience in Telecommunications. He has extensive experience in product management, systems engineering, strategy, sales, and business development primarily in wireless networks, applications software, and OSS/BSS.

Prior to joining Orion, Jeff was leading Network Function Virtualization and Cloud business development in the Americas at Hewlett-Packard (HP).  Jeff began his career at Bell Labs in software development and rose through the ranks to become Corporate Executive Vice President at Alcatel-Lucent in charge of a $750M network infrastructure product division.  As the business leader for the IMS (IP Multi-Media Subsystem) product portfolio, he had responsibility for driving solution strategy, product roadmaps, R&D programs, full stream P&L, and attainment of global sales targets.  During his tenure, his team established a leadership position in VoLTE, virtualization/vTelco, network API exposure, and communications-enabled business process transformation.

He received an MBA in Finance from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He holds a patent in the area of message routing and Caller Identification.
