Horst Gallo is Orion Innovation’s Chief People Officer, responsible for all aspects of Orion’s people strategy and operations, ensuring cultural and skill alignment across the company’s growing global footprint.
A highly experienced human resources executive, Horst has a proven record enabling business performance through the leadership of people and culture in international environments of expansion and transformation.
During his 20 years at IBM prior to joining Orion Innovation, Horst served in key executive roles across multiple HR specialties, business units, and markets. In his most recent role at IBM, he served as the Vice President of HR Talent Management, leading a large international team and partner ecosystem to reinvent people systems and drive digital transformation. Horst was also the Chief Human Resources Officer for IBM in the Greater China Group and Central and Eastern Europe, where he was responsible for all aspects of people and culture.
Horst holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie in Nuremberg, Germany. He lives in Connecticut with his wife and two sons.
