The client had legacy systems that were based on early 90’s technology. The paper-based, manual processes resulted in weeks of wait time for schools to get affiliated and students to register. Labor-intensive tasks caused errors and massive delays in output. Their data was inconsistent across various locations. Resource-intensive answer scripts and management processes were prone to errors and mismanagement of answer scripts.
Solution
Orion was contracted to build a custom platform to streamline administrative tasks using infrastructure modernization, collaboration, and communication tools. We also put together an automated examination management tool that enabled results to be published across geographies in real-time, as compared to the previous 3 weeks.
Orion’s Live Ink Solution has been in use for the past 5 years to evaluate answer scripts with accuracy, instantaneous digitization, mask candidate details, and monitor real-time progress. An innovative Bundle Management Solution (BMS) overhauled labor-intensive logistics and the tedious effort of answer scripts management.
